Today, we’re excited to share a recent interior home makeover project completed by Painted Perfection LLC. Our latest endeavor took us to a charming home in the scenic town of Harpswell, Maine. The homeowners sought a fresh, new look for their interior, and Painted Perfection was more than ready to deliver.
Before the Transformation
The home’s interior, while cozy and inviting, was longing for a touch of modernity. The walls, adorned with yellow and beige, needed a refresh to truly make the space shine. The interior doors and trim also needed repainting. The kitchen was remodeled to include floating shelves and a large built-in bench, which the homeowners wanted to have painted a color to complement their new kitchen island. This home was getting repainted from top to bottom!
The Process
Our team at Painted Perfection worked with the homeowners on their vision for the paint colors. We believe in not just painting homes, but transforming spaces into something homeowners can be proud of. Since this is a coastal home, the owners wanted a beachy feel without being too stark. They chose Sherwin Williams Pure White in a satin finish for the walls and High Reflective White in semi-gloss for the trim. To avoid white overload, we suggested they choose a different color for the interior doors and perhaps a pop of color on their fireplace to add some additional interest.
After the Transformation
The result? A stunning transformation that breathed life and color into the home. The new paint job gave the interior a fresh, vibrant feel. Benjamin Moore Gray Owl was used on the interior doors and Philipsburg Blue on the fireplace. We also refinished the handrails for the stairs to match the existing stair treads, which also complemented the stain used for the island and shelves in the kitchen. The bench was painted using Sherwin Williams Thunder Gray, which along with a healthy dose of pillows tied the whole design together. The homeowner was thrilled with the outcome, and we couldn’t be happier to have been a part of this transformation.
Stay tuned for more on this makeover project as we take on the exterior!
